Terms of Service

1. Services

LeadBuilt provides bespoke web design, development, hosting and related digital services as described in individual project proposals, statements of work and service descriptions.

2. Payment

Website projects up to £5,000 require a 50% deposit upon acceptance and 50% before launch. Projects over £5,000 are billed 40% to begin, 30% after content approval and 30% before launch. Monthly services are billed in advance. Final payment is due before DNS is changed or the finished website is transferred.

3. Intellectual property

Upon full payment, the client owns the finished website code and content created specifically for the project. LeadBuilt retains ownership of internal tools, frameworks and reusable components.

4. Revisions

Two revision rounds are included. Additional scope changes are handled through a change request and may affect the timeline and cost.

5. Third-party services

Domain registration, third-party subscriptions, stock photography and premium plugins are not included in the project fee unless explicitly stated.

6. Warranty

LeadBuilt provides a 30-day defect warranty from launch. Defects reported within this period are fixed at no additional cost. New requests and feature additions are chargeable.

7. Limitation of liability

LeadBuilt's liability is limited to the total fees paid for the relevant project or service. LeadBuilt is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages.

8. Cancellation

Either party may cancel a project with written notice. Work completed before cancellation is billable. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. Monthly services may be cancelled with 30 days' notice.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
